glasgow- My father is Hugh Quinn who was at OLHS in the late 40's. He played as goalkeeper in the 49' Shield Final which they won after a replay at Lesser Hampden. Does anyone have any memories or pictures of this occasion? He would love to hear from anyone of that vintage. His brother ,John ,also won a Shield medal and went on to play for Airdrieonians.

Wishaw- Hi,
Went to the school from 97-2003, what a ball I had. Had some great times in Information Technology with Mr O'Donnell & Mr Bruce during 6 year. Also, our 6 year boys were defo the best talent show entrants ever. So many top teachers, you don't realise it at the time though!! Now working for Barclays as an account manager, wouldn't mind a wee day back in the OLHS to have some of Stingy Betty's famous chips from the downstairs dinner hall!!!

Co Kildare Ireland- OLHS from 61 to 66 surprised to see Andy Lauder from Kentucky . I did exchange to Louisville Kentucky March 65 to June 65 don't remember meeting Andy in Motherwell. I used to hang out with the big lads Joe McGowan, Kevin Chambers etc till they up and left for Holycross. Any one at the Stones concert Hamilton 1964. John T

Farnham Common Bucks- I am a retired GP --- at OLHS 1950---53 -- 4 guys in my year went on to study Medicine -- Buonnacorsi and T Donnachie sadly now RIP and John Calder who became a distinguished Othopaedic surgeon in Vancouver -- our year of 1959 are having a 50 yr reunion in Glasgow in September 2009 -- be very happy to receive E-mails from any of my contemporaries.

Motherwell- just back from your school show! What a fantastic night! We were seriously impressed! Very, very well done to every single one of you. It was of a quality never seen before for a school, it was better than professional as it surpasses anything we have seen on the West End. I and my wife are in such a good mood after it!
