Hi Dorothy Tollan (now Dee Carbray)! I just saw your post and that you wanted to get in touch. I would LOVE to catch up with you! Since I work in health services I tend to keep a low profile: I'm not on Twitter or Facebook and don't like to give out contact details on public forums; but you can always get hold of me at my office number 004769308880. I have lived in Norway since graduating from Glasgow Uni and of course my name has changed too! Hopefully catch up with you soon! Hugs from Theresa (Tolmie) McGrane

Attended 1970 -76. I have many happy memories of Our Lady's, I think my year was the first in the. 'New' building. Upsetting to hear that NLC have plans to merge with Taylor High and re-locate to Ravenscraig! Hope this does not happen, our school has a special place in Motherwell, a special place in our family, as my mum went here before it was an all boys school in the 1930s. Let's keep our school!

I attended OLHS from 1970-75, so I bridged the all boys high school and the mixed comprehensive school following the merger with St Joseph's. I actually loved my time at OLHS, especially the first 3 years. I met my wife Linda Hayes in 3rd year after the merger.
I played in the football and basketball teams and was honored to have captained both teams under the fantastic leadership of Jim Friel.
Teachers I remember include Freil! Naughton, Napier, Lynchburg, Buchanan, Flaherty, Boyle, Casey Lunny, McGovern, Mad Macintyre, carlin, Gribben, Keown, Nielsen, Carr, McCann, Quinn, White, and of course Father Burns, the coolest priest on the planet.
I joined OLHS from St Brendan's along with the McConnell twins, Peter O'Brien, Martin Carey, John McDonald, Colin Fox, Stevie Armstrong and others.
I was in class 1c, 2c as the population was split alphabetically. I remember Kilty mcNulty, Jim McIntyre, Ziggy McGuigan, Jim mcKendrick, Tom Muldownie, chas ONeill, Steve Maxwell, Tom McKean, Frank McShane, WilliePaterson, James Quinn, Martin Quinn, Wilf Slike, Chris Tulips, Gerry Welsh, Andy Morrisey, Mark Mathieson, Chris Rooney, Chris Kip Travers. Sorry to those I missed.
Finally, my dad Big Joe Parks also attended OLHS around 1939.
